How to transfer property in Thailand?


As real estate investment in Thailand becomes more and more popular, many properties have reached the stage of transfer! Information such as the preparation of transfer documents has become an issue that investors pay close attention to. We will explain to you one by one the documents that need to be prepared when transferring ownership during the house purchase process, as well as what documents the homeowner can get after the transfer is completed.

Documents required for registration of transfer of ownership:

① 3 copies of passport with signature

② 3 copies of entry stamp pages from Thailand within the past six months

③ 1 copy of Thailand work permit (if any)

④ Fund transfer or foreign exchange transaction form provided by a Thai bank

⑤ Transfer Authorization POA

In Thailand, after the purchased property is successfully transferred, the homeowner will receive the following documents: title deed & registration agreement, house registration booklet, and land bureau sales contract.
